Advice on packing before moving

Gather material. Make sure that you have
– enough boxes
– marker
– packing film
– newspapers or packing paper
– adhesive tape
– scissors
Use strong boxes and packages. In order to transport kitchen utensils and clothes, gather special packages.
If possible, use original packages for packing home electronics.
Avoid packing more than 50 items in one box.
Label each box:
– which room it has to be taken to
– is it an easily breakable item
– should it be loaded first or as one of the last items
For packing easily breakable items, use towels or newspapers.
Medicines have to be packed leakage-proof.
Books should be packed tightly in smaller boxes.
Do not pack valuables in the same way as other items, carry them rather with you.
